Interaction program on Draft Labor Act 2071

An interaction program on Draft Labour Act 2071 was organized on June 27, 2014 at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza. Participants from various commodities organizations including FHAN, GAN, HAN, APPON and district chambers were present in the program. The program was also attended by the President and four Vice-presidents of FNCCI. In the program, Mr Shekhar Golcha, Chairperson of Employers'Council highlighted the urgency of balanced Labour Act for employment generation and industrial growth. Mr Hansaram Pandey, Director of FNCCI-EC made the presentation on the important provisions of Draft Labour Act. Mr. Pradeep Jung Pandey, President of FNCCI and Mr. Pashupati Murarka, Senior Vice-President of FNCCI also spoke on the occasion stressing the need for good piece of Labour Act acceptable to both the employers and workers.
