The Supreme Court issues an interim order against the government on minimum wage issue

The Supreme Court has issued an interim order against the Ministry of Labour and Transport Management directing not to execute or cause to execute the notification on minimum wage published on May 22, 2011 (Jestha 9, 2068)in the hearing held on June 28, 2011 (Asad 14, 2068) in response to the writ petitions filed by some companies and FNCCI on June 20 and 21, 2011 (Asad 6 and 7, 2068)  challenging its validity on May 22, 2011.
